I began my professional career in the late 1970s at Columbia University in New York City. For 20 years I covered events ranging from lectures, conferences, concerts, dance, meetings, teaching milieus, as well as laboratories and machinery. I did slides of scientific graphs and charts using a white on blue background procedure I developed independently.
I also worked for United Jewish Appeal in 1978, including photographs of Golda Meir and Moshe Dayan. I photographed a slide series for UJA's film, Hinenu, covering the First National Young Leadership conference in Washington DC which dealt with the historic issue of Jewish freedom as well as the then current issue of Jewish dissidents fighting for their freedom to leave Russia..
I also did a slide series for the Foundation of Colitis and Ileitis. I have had various private clients over the years, doing candids, weddings and portraits. Most recently I have done film stills for independent filmmakers.
